Nick is the main character of this story. He has a very strange personality, and enjoys playing the guitar. Many people would consider him a bit geeky.

Kelly is in love with Nick. She works at a campus copy shop, and goes to see Nick on her lunch break. She always orders large coffees to last her the rest of the day. She enjoys playing the bongos, and many people would consider her quite the book worm. This may be due to her fetish with paper.

Jake is the cocky, preppy, antagonist of this story. He is always trying to win over Kelly. All he really enjoys is impressing himself and women.
